Resurrection Easter Sunday!

"The cross is at the center of Christianity, and we know that it was at the center of Jesus' own thinking. I could never myself believe in God if it were not for the Cross. In the real world of pain, how could one worship a God who was immune to it?" Stott

"If Christ had died only a bodily death, it would have been ineffectual.... Unless His soul shared in the punishment, He would have been the Redeemer of bodies alone .... He paid a greater and more excellent price in suffering in His soul the terrible torments of a condemned and forsaken man." Calvin

Psalm 22 was a huge blessing this morning as our Pastor began to unpack this chapter, "The Psalm of the Cross."
